Songs of Malacara

One of my obsessions is capturing ambient sounds—those that surround us constantly but often go unnoticed.

 

Many of my compositions feature a background of white noise composed of sounds I’ve collected from around the world. On my website, you can find descriptions of each track and the field recordings behind them.

In the EP Sounds of the Malacara, I present two tracks dedicated to the Malacara Canyon, located in southern Santa Catarina, on the border with Rio Grande do Sul.

 

These pieces follow the trail and the river, incorporating locally recorded sounds captured during my trekking experience.
